The 430-room hotel will feature a bar and restaurant, large meeting and event spaces as well as leisure facilities, including a spa and swimming pool.
The news follows the London Resort’s recent partnership with Paramount Picture Corporation, with the aim of combining the best of Hollywood with the best of British entertainment to create unique family experiences.
The resort will be one of the biggest themed entertainment resorts in Europe and three times larger than other UK parks. It will have 200 acres dedicated to rides and experiences including a theme park, water park, cinema, theatre, hotels, restaurants and retail outlets. It will also offer a bespoke entertainment district devoted to hospitality experiences including thousands of hotel rooms.
International entrepreneur and leisure industry executive PY Gerbeau joined The London Resort as chief executive in June 2019. His previous roles include co-founder and CEO of the largest and best performing leisure investment vehicle, X-Leisure, and he is also credited with turning around the fortunes of both Euro Disney and the Millennium Dome.
